ATLANTA – Georgians are being warned of home repair fraud and other scams following recent storms throughout the state.

Berks officials say housing repair program is having an impact

A state program that provides funding to help homeowners make critical repairs to their properties is starting to have an impact in Berks County, but the process of doling out the money is proving to be a slow one.

Beware home renovation scams in Mississauga and Brampton: Police


Mississauga and Brampton residents, particularly older adults, are being warned by police that scammers are going door-to-door trying to sell would-be victims on bogus home repair schemes.
